Western Migration
Western migration turned around the settlement of America forever. People were pushed to migrate for many reasons such as famine, disease, war, or lack of jobs. These were some of the pushes to leave but there were also many pulls to the west. People could of been pulled to the west because of wanting a new beginning or adventure, land, jobs, or food. Migration changed the countries population and economy. Many people were able to start a new life in a better place. One group that migrated was the religion group of mormons. The mormons were pulled to the west because of religious freedom and growth.
