The Los Angeles Times wrote this article. This article was written on Feburary 5th of 1889 in Los Angeles. It is a more realiable source because it was written in the west where Belle was living. I know that the source is good because it is primary but it can not completely be trusted because lots of Belle's life was secrective or myth. This newspaper article was intended for the general public. This acticle was produced to tell the public that the famous outlaw, Belle Starr, had been shot and killed. The author's key point was telling everyone that Belle Starr had been murdered. This source is important because there was not many primary sources written on Belle Starr. This source matters to us today because it helps us figure out more on Belle Starr's life. I wonder if all the information on the source is true because there is a variety of primary sources that have different information. |
